We now have, courtesy of Bridget Moynahan herself, a glimpse into the storyline that will unfold during Erin Regan‘s arc on Blue Bloods season 13. The image was published by the actress in a new post on her official Instagram account (which you can see below), and it appears to be a blouse that Erin is wearing during her campaign to become the next District Attorney. We had high hopes that the writers would put a lot of effort into developing this plot point, but it wasn’t entirely apparent whether or not they would. It was possible that they would ignore it and move on to the other side of the election, but that did not end up happening.
Blue Bloods is a police procedural television show that strives to present tales as close to realtime as possible, therefore, for the time being, we are going to assume that the election story will be over by the beginning of November. Will Erin get elected? We absolutely hope so! It’s beyond just a hope that this goes well for the character; we just think it is important to see these people evolve and have different roles in their jobs. Given that Jamie’s been promoted already, isn’t it Erin’s turn? We are going to have a chance to see Blue Bloods season 13 come early October (7th).
For her part as Erin Reagan in the police drama Blue Bloods, Moynahan is well recognized. She started pursuing a modeling career after she graduated from Longmeadow High School in Massachusetts in 1989. She was featured in publications and brochures from department stores. She then began acting classes and acting roles on television. In 1999, she made her on-screen debut in a cameo in the sitcom Sex and the City. Later, she played Natasha on a recurring basis. Between the years 2004 and December 14, 2006, she was in a relationship with NFL quarterback Tom Brady.
In December 2006, her representative sent a press release to People confirming the breakup of the couple and stating that they had “amicably ended their three-year romance.” On the other hand, a spokeswoman for Moynahan confirmed to People on the 18th of February, 2007, that she was expecting and that Brady was the father of the child. Her son John Edward Thomas “Jack” Moynahan was born on August 22, 2007, and she gave birth to him. In spite of assertions made by the media that Moynahan and Brady had a contentious relationship, the two have managed to keep their relationship on friendly terms ever since the birth of their child. In later years, she tied the knot with businessman Andrew Frankel in the year 2015.
