As the season end of Blue Bloods draws near, things are getting worse in the Reagan family. “Two of a Kind,” the ninth episode of Season 14, will air next week. In it, Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) deals with a tough situation that is personal to him.
In the trailer, Frank looks very angry when he learns that his son Jamie (Will Estes) and grandson Joe Hill (Will Hochman) got into a fight in public. Frank is very upset about this because he is known for sticking to his beliefs and being devoted to his family and job.
“They’re related by blood, but also by a terrible burden,” Frank says, pointing out how complicated things are in the Reagan family. Even though the Reagans have a close relationship, they often have problems and disagreements because they are both family members and police agents.
According to the episode summary, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) gets involved in a case when his nephew Sean (Andrew Terraciano) is robbed on his college campus for the second time. Danny feels even more rushed and worried as he works to solve the case and keep Sean safe because of this personal link. At the same time, Erin (Bridget Moynahan) starts to doubt a busy lawyer who she thinks is not looking out for his client’s best interests. Eddie (Vanessa Ray) and her partner, Badillo, look into a break-in where the tenants think their owner is to blame.

Also, Erin grows suspicious of an overworked attorney who she believes isn’t acting in his client’s best interest; Eddie and her partner, Badillo, investigate an apartment burglary in which the tenants suspect their landlord; and Frank is livid when he learns Jamie and his grandson, Joe Hill (Will Hochman), were in a physical altercation in public.
The trailer makes it sound like things are getting heated as the Reagan family faces this new problem. As the Reagan family works together to deal with this problem and continue the tradition of service and honesty that runs through their family, viewers can expect a dramatic and emotional show.

BLUE BLOODS SEASON 14 EPISODE 8 RECAP
In the most recent episode of Blue Bloods, things get worse when Edie sees that her Desk Sergeant keeps pushing her to not charge suspects enough. Even though Edie is trying to follow the law, the Sergeant is not cooperating, which makes her think about telling her boss about the problem.
At the same time, Danny meets a personal challenge when he learns that his sister Erin made a deal that got a serial killer named Sam Evans out of jail early. Evans once made threats against Danny’s partner, Baez, and Danny doesn’t know how to handle the problem.
While Danny thinks about this news, Jamie’s secret investigation into the Scalino family takes a strange turn when he learns that Anthony has been getting information from Billy Berlinger, a criminal snitch. When it comes out that Billy may have other goals, Anthony’s relationship with Billy gets more complicated, which leads to a risky confrontation.
As part of a different plot, Frank gets involved in a personal issue when he learns that Abigail, a teammate, is trying to save her marriage by getting her husband a new job. Even though he had doubts at first, Frank now supports Abigail’s choice, pointing out the personal problems police officers face.
The most exciting part of the show is when Danny and Baez face Evans, who has come back and is now a danger to them. After a dangerous standoff, Danny and Baez have to do something that kills Evans. In the end, Edie’s attempts to talk to her Desk Sergeant about the problem work, as he is moved because he was bad. Ultimately, Jamie and Anthony’s help saves Billy’s life.
