This season finale of Blue Bloods is going to be explosive. “Silver Linings” is the title of tonight’s episode. Anthony Abetemarco (Steven Schirripa), who works as an investigator at the D.A.’s office and frequently collaborates with Erin (Bridget Moynahan), has gotten that coveted invite in the Season 12 finale.. What will trigger this? We’ll have to wait and see. Joe Hill (Will Hochman), the son of the late Joe Reagan and Frank’s grandson, is there is also present for the dinner. According to the synopsis he is working with his uncles, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Jamie Reagan (Will Estes).

Jamie and Joe’s search for an illegal, trafficked adolescent girl collides with Danny and Baez’s (Marisa Ramirez) investigation into the murder of a lady under witness protection. Also, Frank and Erin’s butt heads when he criticizes the district attorney’s office for enacting a new rule that makes armed robbery a misdemeanor, a directive that has immediate repercussions for Eddie (Vanessa Ray) and her partner.

This show usually does something significant in its season finales. Sunday supper is mainly limited to Reagan family members – biological relatives and people who have married into the family. Consider Eddie’s first supper, for example, was when she and Jamie announced their engagement. Jack (Peter Hermann), Erin’s ex-husband, attended one. The events of Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 19 appear to be beyond the control of the characters. Jamie discovers he’s feeling strange while driving home from a party and pulls over to hire an Uber after telling the host what occurred. A automobile collides with a power pole while he is waiting. Jamie rushes to assist the motorist, but authorities on the scene notice he’s high and believe he’s to blame for the collision. Jamie’s situation worsens later when the driver accuses him of causing the crash. Jamie doesn’t want Frank to help fix this matter since it will appear like he received special treatment as Frank’s son. Jamie’s friend deleted the message from his phone so that it wouldn’t harm his own career, so Jamie has no proof he didn’t cause the accident except his word. Meanwhile, Frank interjects when he learns of some medical news regarding Henry, and Henry is enraged when he learns of it, blaming Frank of attempting to cure everything even when the person doesn’t require it. And finally, Erin deals with a former prisoner who is pursuing her because he feels he was unfairly convicted by her predecessor.
