Blue Bloods Season 13 Episode 7 Recap: Are things better between Danny and Jamie now?

Blue Bloods Season 13 Episode 1 Recap

Jamie asks Danny to look into a possible connection between a domestic violence case he’s investigating and the murder of one of Erin’s (Bridget Moynahan) important witnesses; it later comes out that the witness was Joe’s  CI. But the family alliance goes horribly wrong. In Erin’s case, Andre, the enforcer of the defendant (Arturo Muoz, played by Juan Francisco Villa), kidnaps and kills his wife.

Jamie follows him down because he’s sick of being the silent one and not expressing about a judicial system that releases individuals like Andre who have been arrested. Andre starts firing when Danny and Joe arrive on the scene, but Jamie dodges the bullet to protect Danny and Joe. Instead of waiting for an ambulance, Danny slips it under his vest and drives him to the hospital. .The family and police officers converge at the hospital as planned, with the exception of Frank, who goes with Kearns without their phones to see how things are proceeding in precincts and churches

The doctor explains that there is a chance Jamie will become paralyzed even if the bullet is removed because it is close to his spine. Do they desire that a priest visit him? They want the doctor to fix him, according to Henry (Len Cariou). The procedure was successful, but until he wakes up, they won’t know if his spine has sustained any long-term harm. Danny and Joe decide to search for Andre as they await to be able to see him. Joe queries how he manages to let go, carry on being a cop, and do his job while getting over the passing of his father while they travel. Danny explains that he performs the task with Joe by his side. He is always thinking and feeling. When they finally catch up to Andre, Danny must free Joe from the other person (after he lets him get a few punches in). Danny states that they are following the rules since that is what Jamie and Joe’s father would do.

Jack (Peter Hermann) realizes Erin doesn’t want rumors about her date because she’s running for D.A. when they meet for dinner in the background. In relation to it, he wishes to meet someone. Warren Bradford wants to contribute $3 million to her campaign because he respects her and her beliefs. That exceeds contribution caps, so he would establish a PAC to assist in her election instead. Erin queries what is being exchanged. Talking openly and honestly, Jack claims. Not everyone has a hidden agenda.

Then, Captain McNichols (Stephanie Kurtzuba) meets Eddie (Vanessa Ray) in the waiting area. She had earlier in the show informed Jamie and Eddie that one of them needed to switch precincts because, despite the fact that it is against the rules, she doesn’t want a married couple living together. Eddie’s response was not good. She desires to work where he does, as she told Jamie. Eddie, therefore, informs McNichols that she wants to keep her and Jamie together when she visits the hospital and asks if there is anything she needs. Eddie explains that she has to live with her husband so that she will be the first to know if anything horrible occurs to him like it occurred this week.

What about Erin and Jack’s interpersonal connection, though? She says, “You and I are in limbo.” We flirt and date, but we are not committed to one another. She is reminded, “I requested that you move in. No, you replied. I’ve been following your example. You explicitly stated that you were hesitant to proceed with the next step. That’s your fault, not mine. They decide to carry on with their secret encounters that “may be kind of hot” because she acknowledges she is still figuring out what she wants the story of her private life to be. When they finally cross paths at a pub near the episode’s conclusion, once Erin is convinced Jamie will be okay, they are undeniably flirtatious. Jamie would try to sneak out of the hospital by a back door, but when Erin, Danny, and Eddie accompany him out that way, the NYPD policemen, medical staff, and nurses salute and praise him.

Kearns attends the Reagans for the first family meal of Season 13, which features a touching exchange in which Henry declares that having Jamie there is “a wonderful joy.” But who will provide the prayer? Kearns is encouraged to do so by Danny and Joe. Joe compares it to attending a Stones tribute event where, in the middle of the performance, Keith and Mick enter the stage, and Frank refers to him as the family’s “black sheep.” We enjoy these humorous aspects of Joe and Danny. Danny adds that the rest of them are lambs. Naturally, Frank is observing Jamie throughout grace.
