Below Deck Mediterranean: Season 6 Episode 16 Recap

Captain Sandy Yawn took the deckhand ashore at the end of last week’s episode due to his high blood pressure and chest problems. There’s no assurance he’ll return before the season’s end. As a result, Lady Michelle now has a minimum crew. However, at least one individual is missing from both the interior and exterior. Captain Sandy gathers the crew for an update on Lloyd as well as an emergency pep talk to re-energise the men. The visitors board the anchor for the first time, and it’s evident right away that they’re a motley crew. Naturally, Mathew’s concern is heightened when the guests start tripping over one other over their first lunch. In fact, they believe his Mediterranean-style local karpina may benefit from a dash of spicy sauce. Katie is well aware that her criticism will be met with hostility. In the meantime, Sandy receives an update on Lloyd from the doctor. The deckhand will not return to the ship until the next day.

At the same time, Mathew’s mind is disintegrating in front of Katie. After mooring at Ostrica, it’s time to get out the water toys and give the deck crew a chance to shine. To commemorate Jemele and Ian Wallace’s first anniversary, the guests requested a white party. The first night will be an anniversary meal to commemorate their wedding anniversary, the second night will feature a crew talent show and supper with Captain Sandy, and a beach picnic appears to be on the cards for this group. As they board the boat, chief stew Katie gives them a tour. As a result of that fortunate coincidence, the entire supper goes off without a hitch. What isn’t so great, at least for Katie, is the guests’ desire to party the rest of the night away. Katie, on the other hand, doesn’t get to bed until after 4:30 a.m. To make matters worse, the weather is dreary, cloudy, and generally bad the next morning. As a result, the guests will be cooped up inside all day with only the personnel to keep them entertained.

The only good news is that Lloyd is on his way back. The crew talent competition, which Katie and Coco won with their rapping skills, left the guests speechless later that night. It’s thanks to Mathew once again during dinner. He sets out to prepare a flawless feast, especially since Sandy is among the visitors. The guests come across something that tastes suspiciously like a beet.  when he checks the recipe, he discovers that he actually served them “bull’s blood beets,” while Katie double-checks that no one is allergic. However, Mathew continued to deceive the guests without realising it. Katie has returned to lates for yet another late night. Mathew, unfortunately, failed to impress the guests once more. Mathew is already in a terrible mood the next morning. The guests inundate him with a variety of breakfast orders, which ultimately pushes the cook over the limit. it’s gotten to the point where he can’t even put together a good breakfast service.
