Double Feature Episode 4 Recap

the Chemist (Angelica Ross) stunning debut in P-Town five years ago is finally brought to a close in Episode 4. She recently abandoned her job at a lab in Providence, referring to it as an “awful divorce,” as she explains to a disbelieving Holden Vaughn.

After settling in, the Chemist goes out on the street in search of possible test subjects for her wonder cure, eventually bringing home poor Mickey, who agrees to do “anything” for $20. The Chemist, on the other hand, is uninterested in his Halloween special. Instead, she informs him about his government-funded discovery of a medication that boosts the neurons in the occipital cortex of gifted people. Mickey is fascinated, but he isn’t ready to participate in her covert human testing. In exchange for $50, he agrees to send potential subjects her way. The tone-deaf schmuck’s steady transition into the town’s first pale, bald freak is the result of his first find: a karaoke singer, and not a particularly good one. Lark manages a vintage clothing shop while also dabbling in tattoos and dentistry?

The Chemist has a lot more luck with Belle Noir (Frances Conroy) than he does with the others. Before announcing their divorce, he refuses to attend any of his wife’s book readings, refuses to do “anything truly queer,” and brags about boning a townie. He has no idea that Belle has taken the pill, so she kills him, drains him, and scatters his body parts all over the beach. Belle is now a best-selling author in need of a makeover after two years. Naturally, she winds herself in Lark’s business, where we discover that Lark (Billie Lourd) is also a Chemist friend. She continues, far too calmly, “I killed my last boyfriend.” I drank him to death and then torched his body.” It was just a regular conversation amongst killers. Then there’s the moment we’ve all been anticipating. Belle visits a local gay bar, where she meets Austin Sommers, who is dressed as a young drag queen named.

Finally, we get a fun cameo from RuPaul’s Drag Race star Eureka, albeit it’s not as much fun for Austin as it is for Eureka and the other queens, who spend the majority of their screen time picking on Austin’s busted drag. Austin goes home after taking his first pill to ruthlessly slaughter all of the queens who have wronged him.
