Young Sheldon Season 6 Episode 7 Recap

Mandy and Georgie’s parents, Audrey and Jim, join them for supper. Jim seems interested in getting to know Georgie and appears to mourn his daughter, but Audrey treats them both coldly.  The fact that Georgie rushed to the tyre store that they own does not help, and Mandy is furious with Georgie for going behind her back. Jim visits the Cooper home in order to drop off some money for Mandy, where he is greeted by George and Mary. When Mandy learns that he is there, she tells her parents that they need to apologize to her before they can be a part of her life once more.

In the meantime, Sheldon is furious that Missy sold a very rare comic book that he had been looking for at the store where Missy works. Sheldon gets the concept for an online comic database while he is having a conversation with Nathan, an adult who enjoys reading comic books. Sheldon is looking for a comic to trade. He is successful in persuading Missy’s boss to allow him to count all of his stuff for the database and enlists Nathan’s assistance. Sheldon has come to the conclusion that a database may be put to use in the science establishment to assist in connecting grantors and grantees. Nathan is left on his own to steal from the store after he decides to forgo his comic idea. Sheldon pitches the idea of a database to President Hagemeyer, who is enthusiastic about it on the grounds that the company may charge users for access but ultimately decides to fire Sheldon.
