The special’s title, Young Rock: A Christmas Peril, is clearly based on the classic A Christmas Carol, and it will follow each of the actors portraying Johnson as they go through their own dreadful holiday. According to story information, a young Dwayne will serve as a mall elf alongside his father Rocky, who, of course, will be Santa Claus. In one photo, Matthew Willig, who plays Andre the Giant in Young Rock season 2, is costumed as Pére Noel (the French version of Santa Claus). Interestingly, the photographs show Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, and Uli Latukefu, who will all play Johnson at various ages, in the same scene. Young Rock Season 2 -What will happen?
Johnson and Nahnatchka Khan produced Young Rock, which debuted on NBC in February.
