So far, there has been no confirmation that Cafe Minamdang will have a second season. This doesn’t really come as a surprise, since the story seems to be coming to a close and a lot of Korean shows only have one season. But until it’s official, you can never really say “never.” Plus, more and more Korean shows are getting picked up for more seasons, so it’s hard to say for sure if this is the last time we’ll see the Minamdang crew, especially if people start asking for them to come back.
Even so, we still think it’s unlikely that there will be a second season. Even though Ready Steady Cut gives the show high marks (it gets an average of four stars), we wouldn’t be upset if they found a way to keep going after these 18 episodes.
