(tvacute.com) Here’s to continue reading to learn more about actor Ismael Cruz’s prior roles, his part in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 1, and other information.

Who is Ismael Cruz Córdova?

On April 7, 1987, Ismael Enrique Cruz Cordova was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico. His early years were mostly spent at Aguas Buenas. Córdova discussed his many hardships, from growing up in “homes with dirt floors” to “working as a child,” in an interview with HOLA! Prior to discovering a theatre group that dramatically changed his life, he stated to the media that he intended to be a pediatrician. Ismael joined his High School Drama Club at the age of fifteen, and soon after, he started working locally in commercials, TV, and movies.

He relocated to New York City in 2006 to continue pursuing his passion and enrolled in NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He appeared in a number of television episodes and advertisements. He gained notoriety by portraying Mando in Sesame Street, a well-liked children’s program. He also had notable roles in the third season of Berlin Station, Ray Donovan, Settlers, and many other shows. Ismael has received numerous accolades and recognition for his acting work in NYC, including being named one of Latino Leaders Magazine’s 25 Leaders of the Future and receiving a VOCES de Ford Award from Ford Motors, which is granted to trailblazing role models in the media and entertainment industry.

Ismael Cruz Córdova plays Arondir

Arondir, played by Ismael Cruz Cordova, is a Silvan Elf who unfortunately ends up falling in love with Bronwyn, a healer, in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. One of the more intriguing components of the plot involves his illicit romance with Bronwyn, and it will be interesting to see how it develops. Because Arondir was created expressly for the series, not much is known about him. Ismael Cruz Córdova discussed Arondir in his interview with HOLA!, calling him a “fighter.” He said, “There are many kinds of elves with Arondir, and he’s not a big talker, you know? As a result, I was able to find a lot of inner peace, but I was also able to push my body to new limits. I also developed new talents and learned how to express even more beauty and meaning through dance, which was extremely meaningful for me.

The events in The Hobbit and the LOTR films are several centuries removed from those in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Several new characters that were not developed in the franchise’s earlier movies can be anticipated by viewers. The program appears to have a lot of potentials based on the teaser, which features excellent visuals and an alluring cast. Numerous performers play prominent roles in the series, including: Elrond is portrayed by Robert Aramayo, Mriel by Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Isildur by Maxim Baldry, Galadriel by Morfydd Clark, and Arondir by Ismael Cruz Córdova.

On Thursday, September 1, 2022, make sure to watch The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power on Amazon Prime Video.
