Watch the New Trailer for ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ Movie: Helen Mirren’s villainous turn and Lucy Liu’s drago ride

In April 2019, the original Shazam! the movie was released with great success.  In the new film Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Zachary Levi reprises his role as teenaged superhero Billy Batson, complete with the trademark red spandex and white cape. Starring in the role of Hespera, Calypso, and Antaeus, respectively, in Shazam! are newcomers Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, and Rachel Zegler. tvacute.com brings you the brand new second trailer for the sequel dropped by Warner Bros, which you can view below.

In anticipation of the March 17 release date, Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Fury of the Gods, which teases Levi’s return and the emergence of some very starry villains. James Gunn and Peter Safran as co-CEOs and the cancellation of Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman 3 as well as the recasting of Henry Cavill as Superman. While the fates of other superheroes remain unclear, Levi’s Shazam is eager to resume his heroic exploits, and this time he will be pitted against some extremely powerful adversaries.

The time jump between the first film and the sequel was announced during the film’s panel at Comic-Con in July. In addition to the first trailer, the panel included the adult versions of Billy’s foster brothers, revealing that they would get more screen time, Shazam (Zachary Levi) is questioning his position in this world as a superhero, and the Daughters of Atlas will be making a lot of problems.

The actors playing the adult superhero versions of Freddy Freeman, Darla Dudley, Eugene Choi, Mary Bromfield, and Pedro Pea in the movie are Adam Brody, Meagan Good, Ross Butler, Grace Fulton, and D.J. Cotrona.
