In Walker Season 2, Episode 13, Walker and Cassie collaborate. Cordell is out hunting for hints to aid while Liam is dealing with the court issue and Abby and the kids are waiting for an answer. He and Cassie will collaborate in order to unearth any proof that others have overlooked. Meanwhile, Geri will do everything she can to assist the family. She wants to keep everyone’s spirits up. But it’s not going to be that simple. Bonham buried that lantern for a reason, there’s no doubt about that. He most likely believed he had a valid cause, but who did he wish to protect?

Cordell was out of his mind after watching a film from years ago in which Gale said that it was Cordell who carried the lantern to their barn, causing the fire and Marvin’s death. Cordell was eventually unable to control the horse due to a lack of mental clarity. As a result, Bonham informed him that he would be racing instead. Meanwhile, Liam was thinking about making a deal with the Davidsons before the race since something didn’t feel right. Denise was unhappy with Dan at the Davidson house after he embarrassed her the other day by getting drunk in front of everyone. She also told him to leave and her mother, Gale, that Dan would not be racing on their behalf. Gale, on the other hand, sought to persuade her otherwise. Gale told Denise all about the lantern and how Auggie stole it from their barn before leaving for work.
As a result, Denise went straight to meet Augie after trying to reach Cordell but failing to pick up the phone since it was broken. She eventually convinced Augie to accompany her to Ranger HQ for questioning, and he obliged. Later, Liam arrived and consoled Stella, who was enraged by Denise’s bullying of her brother. She also chastised Colton for leaking information about Augie simply because their relationship was strained. Throughout it all, Liam informed Dan of the bargain, but he eventually informed Gale and asked to race on behalf of the Davidsons without informing Denise in order to show to his son that he was worth it. Finally, race day arrived, and Cordell was prepared, having spoken with Bonham the night before and cleared his thoughts.
Dan tried to take the short cut during the race and collided with a tree branch. Cordell, being the bigger guy, offered him a helping hand, and they resumed their journey. Cordell was about to win when he noticed the cops approaching and arresting his father. Denise finally had the lantern forensically examined, and they discovered Marvin’s blood on it. Cordell tried to sprint to the finish line, but his saddle strap snapped at the last second, and he and his horse both fell. Dan eventually won the race, and the Davidsons now own all of the land, while Bonham was imprisoned.
