The fourth installment in The Matrix franchise is co-written and directed by Lana Wachowski, one of the two Wachowskis who directed the previous three movies.
A science fiction action movie Matrix 4 initially planned back in on May 21, 2021, but it has now been pushed back by a year – it will hit theaters on April 1, 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
