Dr. Audrey Lim (Christina Chang) and Dr. Mateo Rendón (Osvaldo Benavides) are in bed, Dr. Mateo reveals that he is American but was born in Mexico, an accent he uses for sexy purposes. Back at the hospital, Claire sits down with one of the patient’s daughters and tries to please her.

Dr. Marcus Andrews (Hill Harper) flirts with Nurse Ana Morales (Esmeralda Pimentel), Morales notices her wedding ring. Andrews reveals that his wife Isabel (Marsha Thomson) had left him for another man. . Marcus apologizes for flirting with her. At the end of the episode, we see Claire, along with Carla, in surgery and is overjoyed. Claire begins patient Miguel’s (Javier Lacroix) first surgery. Miguel’s faithful dog sat patiently outside, waiting for him to return.
