The Equalizer Season 3 Episode 1 Recap

The new episode begins shortly after Robyn vanished as Aunt Vi and Delilah hastily tell Det. Dante and the other responding police officers everything they can remember. Despite Dante’s earlier interactions with Delilah, he was unaware that she was Robyn’s child. Delilah hesitantly breaks down another barrier enclosing Robyn’s strange life by divulging the knowledge. Additionally, Delilah enlists the aid of Mel and Harry in the hunt for her mother, who is seen restrained to a bed at a disused military facility.

Dante locates one of the perpetrators and coerces him into disclosing Robyn’s whereabouts thanks to Delilah’s information regarding the kidnappers’ vehicle and Aunt Vi’s description of one of the captors. Omar Delgado, a friend of Quinn’s who is being detained by the CIA, sits down with Mel in the meantime. Just before Delgado dies from a poisoned cigarette provided by Quinn, she finds out about his plans to detonate radioactive explosives elsewhere in the city that day. She alerts the authorities, but they choose not to issue a public alert for fear of causing panic. While Mel does alert Delilah and Aunt Vi, the obstinate teen initially refuses to leave her mother behind. Delilah’s father is alerted to the danger by Aunt Vi, and he instructs Delilah to leave town with them and Aunt Vi.

Robyn ultimately meets Quinn after shooting out one of her guards, and Quinn shows her a deep-fake video of Robyn admitting blame for the terrorist attack. Quinn claims, “This city is a false beacon of freedom.” Harry, who is watching the area, provided advice as Dante and Mel broke into the building. However, when they arrive at the command centre, they discover that Robyn, Quinn, and his goons have vanished. Quinn, however, left behind a tracking device to trick them into believing that several explosives were being transported in three vans, and that they were scheduled to go off at 6 o’clock. Carter Griffin, a CIA handler, joins the group as they pursue the vans, where they discover Robyn had fled after killing two of the guards who were with her.

They conclude that there is only one explosive in Liberty Park next to the Freedom Tower after realising the vans are empty. They find the bomb, which contains a remote detonator that Quinn intends to trigger from a different place. Quinn is found by Robyn at a rooftop helipad, where she fires at him, but he still manages to detonate the device. In a moment of panic, Robyn makes the call to Harry, who claimed to have assisted in removing the radioactive canister prior to the bomb going off.

The Equalizer Season 3 Episode 1 Recap: Ending Explained!

Robyn replies to Quinn’s threats to her family when his scheme is thwarted by them by shooting him in the head shortly before Carter arrives to take him into custody. He eventually escapes Carter’s hold, though, and Robyn is forced to fire. Finally, Griffin shows there to take Quinn into custody, and Robyn overcomes her adversary. Quinn teases Robyn about Bishop’s passing before she departs and forewarns her that he will harm additional CIA personnel. Robyn shoots Quinn before he can flee as he tries to flee for his life. Quinn, who is shot multiple times, tumbles from the rooftop. Therefore, Quinn passes away. Robyn’s face fills with satisfaction as he falls from the building’s roof. She says, “That’s for Bishop.” Finally, Robyn is no longer under threat from the notorious terrorist. Additionally, she murders the person who murdered her mentor to revenge Bishop’s death, capping out the episode in gratifying fashion.

Robyn and Dante meet up, and Robyn and Harry embrace. She adds gasoline to their relationship’s “will they or won’t they” dynamic by saying, “You’re not getting rid of me that quickly.” The four of them then slowly depart like badasses. When Robyn returns home, her ex-husband confronts her and reveals he has questions about her life. However, he decides to put them on hold until she reunites with Delilah and Aunt Vi. He does, however, provide a caution that might as well sum up the dangerously converging of Robyn’s professional life with her domestic life: “This is far from done.”
