Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) calls to tell John that Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) has changed, but Lois consoles the boys that their father will be fine. Meanwhile, Edge (Adam Rayner) threatens Superman at the fort. He and Lois discuss where Clark might be.
John Henry (Wolé Parks), and Lois discuss a possible game plan to save Superman. The general sits with them, joined by Lois, pleading with John Henry that Superman will not do anything bad. Lois asks the general to find Superman. Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan discuss their feelings about what happened to their father.
Sam (Dylan Walsh) and John work together to find out what they can do to save Superman. Meanwhile, Kyle encounters some people in town who are still upset with him. Lois comes to his aid. Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) tells John and Sam that it is possible to fight against the abolitionist. Edge continues to torture, Superman. Jordan suddenly feels pain.
Lana, Kyle (Erik Valdez), and Sara arrive at the house and find that their windows are broken. Jordan (Alexander Garfin) and Jonathan visit Lois and Sam tell him that his father has sent a message to Jordan. Sam tells Lois that he plans to send John to help Superman.
Kyle and Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) laugh as they show Sarah (Inde Navarrette ) how to get the paint off their windows. They all get into water fights. Lois is forced to tell the boys that she is not sure what will happen. Superman continues to try to fight Edge. John and Sam locate Superman. John sets out to help Superman. He likes his Iron Man suit, appears to be flying. He asks Superman to remember his family, Lois, and be a hero. After a fight, Superman is himself again. Together they handed Edge over to the army.
Superman returns to his family. John says goodbye. They are safe in prison with Edge. Later, Sam comes to apologize. She is proud that Lois kept her faith. Now all they need to do is get Edge’s assistant.
