Supergirl Season 6 Episode 14 Recap

Lena, J’onn, Nia, Alex, and Kelly are playing Jenga in Kara’s apartment when the episode begins. Kara flies in, shocked to see them and evidently concerned about Nyxly’s disappearance. Nyxly obtains the Totem of Humanity from a professional fighter. When Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) arrives, Nyxly uses the totem to send a blast that affects over 200 people. These individuals lose their humanity and begin to fight one another. The violence has spread across the city. Nyxly, on the other hand, has absorbed all of their humanity and grown more empathetic as a result. The Super Friends decide to have Lena track the Humanity Totem’s energies with the help of magic. William visits The Tower in order to write a storey about the Super Friends. He wants to tell everyone about Nyxly, but Kara is against it since she doesn’t want the public to panic.

Lena’s magic backfires, escalating the city’s unrest. However, as Nyxly is about to kill a guard in order to obtain the Hope Totem, it gives her an extra burst of humanity. Kara discovers that they can use Lena’s spell to pull Nyxly out. The Super Friends agree to let William tell his narrative the way he wants it to be told. Lena repeats the magic, and the rest of the Super Friends assist in calming the city’s violence. Overwhelmed by humanity, Nyxly pilots her ship into the city and relinquishes the Humanity Totem’s power. The violence comes to a halt, and Kara receives the totem. To Andrea’s dismay (Julie Gonzalo), William writes his account but refuses to reveal particular facts about the Super Friends. Esme, the extraterrestrial foster girl, finds a home with Kelly. However, after witnessing Esme employ her abilities, the parents rethink their minds. Alex and Kelly appear to be considering adopting her at the end of Supergirl Season 6 Episode 14.
