Kirk Baily, who starred as Kevin “Ug” Lee on the 1991 Nickelodeon series Salute Your Shorts, died. 59. Baily’s death was confirmed by his partner, Ranjani Brow, who said he died in Los Angeles. Brow and two kids survive him.

Kirk Baily died on February 28, 2022., according to his family.  His death occurred only six months after he was diagnosed with lung cancer, according to his family. Baily was 59 years old when he died.

Baily began his career as a theatrical teacher and coach in New York City. In the early 1980s, he began supplying voices for different anime shows. Steve Slavkin and Thomas Hill’s book, Salute Your Shorts, would subsequently lead to his appearance in the films Anna and Voodoo Dawn.

Salute Your Shorts followed the campers and counselors at the fictional Camp Anawant to for two seasons. Baily’s character Ug was a villain who was frequently mocked by the kids. Danny Cooksey, Erik MacArthur, Blake Soper, Michael Bower, Trevor Eyster, Venus DeMilo Thomas, Heidi Lucas, and Megan Berwick were among the cast members of the play. In 2019, many of the cast members reunited in Hollywood at the Good Burger pop-up shop.

The Larry Sanders Show, Star Trek: Voyager, Melrose Place, Felicity and NYPD Blue were among Baily’s TV appearances after Salute Your Shorts. The Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run. He recently voiced in the 2021 remake of George A. Romer’s classic horror film Night of the Living Dead. Animated comedy film DC League of Super-Pets, due out May 20, 2022.
