It’s been five months since the comedy world lost Bob Saget, and in a new Netflix special, some of his closest friends and family pay tribute to his life and legacy. Netflix has published the first trailer for Dirty Daddy: A Tribute to Bob Saget, which will premiere on Friday, June 10. Take a look at the below.
Bob Saget died on January 9 in an Orlando hotel room shortly after performing stand-up comedy. His death at the age of 65 shocked Hollywood, prompting a flood of condolences and a farewell appearance at the Comedy Store in West Hollywood, where Dirty Daddy was filmed.

Bob Saget’s former Full House co-stars John Stamos and Dave Coulier, as well as Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jim Carrey, Michael Keaton, Tim Allen, Jeff Ross, Darren Criss, Paul Rodriguez, Jon Lovitz, John Mayer, Mike Binder, Jackson Browne, Seth Green, Mike Young, and Candace Cameron Bure, are among those taking part. Kelly Rizzo-Saget, his widow, and their daughters Lara and Aubrey Saget are also set.
Everyone, as stated in the teaser, deserves a friend like Bob. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Lori Loughlin, Jodie Sweetin, and the creator of ‘Full House’ pay tribute to Bob Saget, calling him “one of the best.”
John Stamos commented on Instagram shortly after the event, “Being respected in the stand-up comedy scene was everything to Bob.” “The outpouring of love and appreciation he received… at the Comedy Store truly demonstrated that he was on top of his game!”
Saget had been doing stand-up comedy on his most recent tour, which began in September 2021 and was scheduled to end in June of this year. Saget’s family released a statement a month later confirming that the comedian died of an accidental head injury. “They came to the conclusion that he banged the back of his head on something by mistake, didn’t think much of it, and went to sleep.” There were no drugs or alcohol used. He was 65 years old at the time.
On June 10, Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute will be released.
