Queen Sugar Season 6: Official Trailer & Release Date Revealed -The Bordelon family is back.

Season 6 of the OWN drama Queen Sugar, directed by Ava DuVernay and based on the book by Natalie Baszile, is gearing up for its return. Recently, a new trailer has been dropped. In the Season 6 trailer, Ralph Angel and Darla, who are expecting a baby. Ralph and his wife Darla (Bianca Lawson) go through some financial trouble Ralph Angel grows into a life of crime to prevent damage to the farm. Their happy moments appear to be spending time with their daughter, and Blue’s triumphant return from boarding school. Michacharlie and Davis are reunited in some fashion, but she keeps her reunion a secret from Aunt V and wears a big hat to hide her identity. Plus, in the meantime, it seems that Micah (Nicholas Ashe) is suffering from PTSD while away from college. Charlie considers taking her political career national, while also navigating her relationship with her ex-husband Davis West (Timon Kyle Durrett).

Queen Sugar Season 6 Release Date

Queen Sugar Season 6 premieres on September 7 at 8 PM. ET on OWN. Seasons 1-4 are available to stream exclusively on Hulu.

Queen Sugar Season 6 Cast

Rutina Wesley (Nova Bordelon), Dawn-Lyen Gardner (Charlotte “Charley” Bordelon West), Kofi Siriboe (Ralph Angel Bordelon), Nicholas L. Ashe (Micah West), Bianca Lawson (Darla Sutton), and Tina Lifford (Violet Bordelon). Ethan Hutchinson, who plays Ralph Angel and Darla’s son Blue, may not be in season 6 much. New cast, Tammy Townsend as Billie. Additional new Queen Sugar Season 6 cast members include Paula Jay Parker Marquis Rodriguez as Isaiah and McKinley Freeman as Dominic will appear in recurring roles.

Continuing DuVernay’s commitment to hiring an entirely female-led directorial team for the show, the network has added nine new directors for Season 6. The latest addition brings the series’ total number of female directors to 42 filmmakers, 39 of whom are first-time television directors.
