Ultimately, Ainsley realizes that he was doing what his father did to him.

The episode ending is not here yet, we see Simon Hoxley (Alan Cumming) at a crime scene. Where he examines Nicholas Endicott, the head who was caught in the fisherman’s net. Investigation revealed Nicholas had died somewhere else.
