In the case against the man who killed Sergeant Ayanna Bell’s partner Detective Darryl Jennings, As the Eamon Murphy ( Timothy V. Murphy) plot deepened, Jet began an undercover relationship with Eamon Murphy as the plot involving him became more complex, which led to significant advancements in the investigation but also raised questions about Jet’s neutral in Bell’s mind. Jet posed as a possible romantic interest to Seamus O’Meara (Michael Malarkey), who became very invested very quickly. The fact that he was unaware that Stabler was a cop was a blessing. His mistake was thinking he was the bar’s manager; his revenge on Stabler was to make him run errands because he didn’t appreciate Stabler’s arrogance. He failed to see how easily Stabler had manipulated him into becoming a regular at the bar.
At Bar, Jet gave him a passionate kiss. Even though she didn’t sleep with him, she did do something very wrong, and her team caught her doing it. Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt) was worried that she was falling for Seamus because of her demonstrated skill for creating UC ties and closeness to some really awful people. Bell wanted to remove her from the case. Jet put on a convincing performance for her, despite the fact that she had no thorough indication of why she was still wearing the necklace that he gave her and had an ongoing fight explaining why she kissed him. Jet revealed that she is a talented actress. She overstepped her bounds, but she wasn’t a bad cop, and she asked for another chance to persuade Seamus to turn on Eamon.
After reaching her breaking point in the first half of the season, the sergeant revealed to Jet that she had suffered the loss of her lover many years earlier. Even in the end, Jet maintained her cover, at least until she and Seamus had to escape the bar because Seamus was sure Eamon would kill them because Eamon didn’t kill a man to pay off a bill. When Seamus accidentally pulled off her wig while trying to get her into a car, he began to wonder if she wasn’t who she claimed to be. And so, Jet declared herself to be a police officer. Her intention was to put Seamus under arrest. As expected, he retaliated with violence. But she was alone and only managed to dial Bell before being interrupted. Seamus pounced on Jet and attempted to force her into the trunk of his car, but Jet fought back. Before she could reach for her weapon, he threw her in the trunk of his car.
