Law and Order Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 21 Recap

Webb’s ambition to get rid of Stabler is the focus of the penultimate episode. Webb has ordered a hit on Stabler, Jet discovers. Stabler is unconcerned, but the rest of the team is. Stabler relocates his family to Kathleen’s house in the hopes of keeping them safe, but his mother begins to unravel. She becomes delirious and rambles, and she is on the phone with Stabler when someone fires a gun at him and misses. Jet assists in identifying the shooter, and Stabler tracks her down and pursues her. They fight for a long time, and Stabler eventually wins. Meanwhile, Donnelly announces his departure from the Brotherhood, with Stabler taking command. Stabler, like the rest of the team, is dissatisfied. Bridget discovers Donnelly digging in the backyard for the money he’d buried there. When Donnelly’s wife sees how much money he has, she becomes enraged and plans for them to flee and start a new life someplace else. Donnelly wants out of The Brotherhood now that he has a child. He intends to take his wife and child, as well as all of the money, to Belize. He summons the other rogue cops to a conference and informs them that Stabler is now in control. The slugs in the tree, which Stabler fired from his father’s partner’s rifle, are identical to those found in his father’s leg decades ago. That almost indicates his father staged a phony shooting to hide his corrupt dealings. Though he knew deep down, it still hurts, and he sobs as Jet departs the flat.
