King the Land Season 1 Episode 8 Recap

Lee Jun-ho and Im Yoon-ah are the main characters in the continuing South Korean romantic comedy (romcom) television series King the Land (Korean). Goo Won (Lee Jun-ho), the heir to The King Group, a luxury hotel conglomerate, was involved in an inheritance war. Cheon Sa-rang (Im Yoon-ah), a hotelier who always had a grin on her face until she meets Goo Won, is the protagonist of King the Land.

In King The Land episode 8, the common consensus is that the show is a rom-com, yet it may also be viewed as a tragedy because of the way in which viewers’ high hopes were dashed in real life. Cheon Sa Rang (Im Yoon-ahand Goo Won are joyfully engaged in a false marriage as Prince Samir (Anupam Tripathi) enters and confronts The heir and head general manager of King Hotel Goo Won (Lee Jun-ho) for masquerading as an ordinary laborer. Sa Rang storms out of the scene after they argue. Despite Sa Rang and Goo Won’s relationship, some people think Samir and Goo Won have more chemistry.

Later, at midnight, Goo Won and Sa Rang go on a date to the Han River. The scene shows a girl having ramen and beer with her true love in a dreamlike setting. Even though Sa Rang hasn’t formally accepted a date, she makes it clear that she’d like to hang out with Goo Won.

Goo Won arrives to wake Sa Rang up the following morning, but she drags him inside so Su Mi won’t see him. Goo Won poses as the visitor and their interaction causes heart rates to rise. Goo Won is serving at a dinner that Samir invites Sa Rang to. Samir asks Sa Rang to marry him, but she politely declines, saying she appreciates the attention. They eventually sit down to a wonderful dinner as a group.

Goo Won declares battle with his sister and speaks out against her abuse of hotel staff. He makes this choice after realizing the effects of having his sister in charge. Goo Won wishes to continue their relationship with Sa Rang, but she is currently in the sauna with her companions, who are engaged in a nefarious sales scam. Goo Won joins them and observes the event while taking notes in his head.

Goo Won asks Sa Rang out on a date after getting the go-ahead from her friends, and she gladly accepts. Goo Won is making excellent food and serving sangria, so the date is set up perfectly. However, things take a turn when Gu Won’s careless use of oil causes the cooking table to catch fire. Despite the incident, they have their first kiss and formally declare their relationship. Overall, this episode emphasizes Sa Rang and Go Won’s developing romance while interspersing comedy and drama.
