A swoony Nathan and Issa shared a two-bedroom bungalow. They were so preoccupied kissing and planning their future that the listing agent rented it to someone else while they were still there. Taurean arrived early to be appointed a partner at Molly’s legal firm, which Molly adored. When they walked away, their coworkers Felicia and Stacy murmured about their evident sexual connection. Damn. Lawrence and Chad discussed settling down and buying a house. But now where is Lawrence? Then again, who knows? So Chad talked about Derek and Tiffany’s farewell party and the costly briefcase he bought Derek with Leah’s help. Then Lawrence claimed he wouldn’t be going since Issa would be there and he didn’t want to run into her again. But Chad wasn’t listening. He told Lawrence to come because he hadn’t fought for Issa when she dumped him. Chad replied when Lawrence asked him to clarify.
A fantastic Otis Redding/San Francisco reference. Chad swiftly changed the subject and started ordering quiches on a mobile app while Lawrence sat there shocked. Chad. The big day arrived, and Issa and Nathan entered the festivities together. Tiffany’s parents’ home was impressively majestic and opulent. Derek asked Nathan if he needed a toaster, which was the ideal introduction for Issa to announce they’d been looking for a home and would be living together shortly. After congratulating Issa and Nathan, Molly arrived with her new boo, Taurean. Insecure, and Molly Taurean forgot there would be youngsters at the party and chose not to give Derek and Tiffany the cannabis gummies he had bought for them. It’s fine to change your mind about a present, but Taurean’s reversal left Kelli, Derek, and Tiffany puzzled. When Molly asked what was up, he told her and they ate gummies to celebrate his promotion.
While presenting Dro to Taurean, Molly embarrassed Dro about their former sexual relationship and his open marriage! The two lawyers ate finger food and sought refuge in a nearby pantry. The nicest aspect about the gummy candy was Molly’s candour. Taurean stated he despised Molly when they first met, so it was all uphill. Taurean also declared he liked her now. In the pantry, they started kissing and getting it on. Hot! Molly was having a terrific time. Nor were Issa, Lawrence, or Nathan, who had an odd meeting with Condola. A few days later, Nathan complained to his son Aric that Lawrence was fooling with him. Issa and Nathan were looking for a place to live together, so Nathan got in a dig or two. Yikes. Have you seen Lawrence? Daunted, Lawrence questioned Issa why she called him, to which Issa replied that she made a mistake. Lawrence then asked Issa whether she was happy because he missed her. Nathan approached Issa as she was telling Lawrence it wasn’t the time or place for that discussion (so she’s not happy?). Issa tried to play it off, but Lawrence puffed up his chest and stated they were “talking.” Taurean had to intervene after a heated shoving match. Nathan pushed Issa away and stated he needed a moment, as the whole group stared in astonishment.
