“Zaragoza said to PopCulture, that his deadpan character is a young person with an old soul.” A lot more can be learned about that. In season two and beyond, I think there are going to be a lot of secrets about how he got there and why he’s stuck here.

Teasing an emotional scene in the episode between all the house ghosts and the livings, Zaragoza says while it is always so much fun spending time with his co-stars, playing Sasappis has its challenges. “The hardest thing for me sometimes is just being — for lack of a better term, rude,” he laughed adding how his blunt character is “not afraid” to put someone down or in their place. “For me, that is not exactly how I am in my day-to-day.

Ghosts Season 1 Episode 13 Recap

On Ghosts Season 1 Episode 13, Sam and Jay broke down the lock to a secret bank vault using Hetty’s husband’s maid’s birthday. Instead, another ghost appeared: Elias (played by Matt Walsh), Hetty’s spouse and first cousin, a real-life robber baron. He tried to hit on Alberta as soon as he emerged from the gloomy depths of the vault, where his only companion was his own very decaying body. He was adamant to get rid of the livings for corrupting his submissive wife after he learned she had changed. He made it his mission to sabotage them with his newly discovered power after learning that they needed to stage Liz and Kenny’s wedding to put the house on the map or they’d go bankrupt and have to sell. Jay and Samantha considered telling Kenny about the incident until he recognised it was Elias’ ghost power at work. Unfortunately, Elias went straight through her before she could deliver the message to Kenny, which irritated her even more. Naturally, Kenny and Liz were taken aback by the strange situation. Samantha tried her hardest to explain it without revealing that the mansion was haunted by an evil, mustache-twirling ghost, but the couple opted not to hold their wedding there. They’ve become close and have formed a family. Plus, now that Sam can see them, they’re feeling more alive than they have in years. Hetty attempted to have a conversion experience with her womanising husband, but he exhibited no regret for whatever he did prior to death, including cheating, manipulating, and stealing from others. He was a very evil man who revelled in using others for his own advantage. The difference is that he spent decades inside in a black room, while she was out here watching life unfold through generations. She was learning from others, and while some of her principles were still a touch stale, she was improving. Hetty urged Elias to go to hell after he made it plain that he wouldn’t change, and he did. As the ground opened up and swallowed him into a blazing red pit of fire, everyone was stunned. Meanwhile, the ghosts saw that Elias’ ghost possessed an expensive clock, implying that he had one on his corpse as well. Jay did his part for the squad by digging through the body of a dead man in the bank vault to get the watch.
