During the Comic-Con@Home Panel, it was declared that Fear the Walking Dead Season 6 will begin on Sunday, October 11th which was shut down due to COVID-19.

The fifth season finale finished with the survivors, including love birds John (Garret Dillahunt) and June (Jenna Elfman) got hitched and Grace (Karen David) was pregnant rather than haunting debilitated. Morgan (Lennie James) was shot by Ginny (Colby Minifie) which left him close to death.

In view of the trailer, he’s not dead yet but rather doesn’t appear to be a long way from it particularly since it appears he’s being pursued.
Morgan (Lennie James) being seen with red eyes toward the finish of the trailer. Regardless of whether that implies he’s a zombie or not is not yet clear. Whatever the case, it’s not the same old thing for the character in the new season.
