Duster Season 1 Episode 4 Promo & Release Date

Duster 1x04

After the intense and twisty turn of events in Episode 3 of Duster, things are starting to heat up on both sides of the law. Episode 3 gave FBI Agent Nina Hayes (Rachel Hilson) the spotlight, launching viewers straight into chaos with a knife to her throat before rewinding thirteen hours to piece together how she ended up in that dangerous situation. It was a bold, stylish hour that leaned into retro TV tricks, showing us Nina’s courage, resourcefulness, and vulnerability as she infiltrated a sanitarium with her partner Agent Awan (Asivak Koostachin) in search of answers. The deeper she went, the more the lines between justice and chaos blurred, and we watched as Nina got tangled in a trap that offered as many riddles as it did revelations.

Meanwhile, Jim Ellis (Josh Holloway) wasn’t left on the sidelines. His suspicions about his boss Saxton (Keith David) grew darker after he discovered evidence linking his brother’s death to a C4 explosion. Although Saxton seems full of fatherly warmth and trust, something about him—and his connection to a shady explosives expert—has Jim inching back toward paranoia.

Now, things are about to get messier.

JIM ELLIS VS. ENRIQUE THE BLADE

Episode 4, titled “Criminalus Velocitus Super-Sonicus”, airing June 5 and written by Sue Chung, introduces a new and dangerous figure into Jim’s already precarious world—Enrique the Blade. With a name like that, it’s no surprise he’s not here for a friendly visit. According to the episode’s promo, Enrique is gunning for Jim, and his arrival is tied to Mad Raul, a crime boss Jim had once considered working for.

Jim ultimately walked away from that deal, but now it seems the decision may come back to haunt him. Enrique isn’t just dangerous—he’s theatrical, unpredictable, and relentless. His appearance raises the stakes for Jim, who is already struggling to maintain his cover while digging for the truth behind his brother’s murder.

Trying to play it cool while being hunted isn’t easy, especially when you’re embedded deep in Saxton’s criminal web. Jim is walking a tightrope, torn between loyalty, survival, and justice. As tensions rise, one wrong move could blow everything wide open.

NINA HAYES FOLLOWS THE NUMBERS

On the other side of this troubled story, Agent Nina Hayes is also not getting off easy. Nina finds a new clue: Leland gave her a hint about a mysterious trail of numbers. She is still thinking about her scary encounter with the crazy ‘Agent Breen’. We’re not just coming to a stop here. These numbers could help her figure out a plot that has something to do with her past and maybe even her missing father.

But chasing leads is complicated when you’re also trying to hold together an uneasy alliance. Jim wants protection from Enrique, and he might be looking to Nina for help. That puts her in a tough position: should she focus on the bigger picture or help a man who’s hiding plenty of secrets himself?

AGENTS IN TROUBLE, CRIMINALS CLOSING IN

As Nina gets deeper into dangerous territory and Jim’s paranoia grows, Duster episode 4 is sure to put more pressure on both of them. There isn’t much trust. More enemies are coming. And the past keeps coming back into the present, threatening to ruin any plans these two have made.

One thing’s for sure—Enrique the Blade isn’t just a colorful name. He’s a sharp reminder that the criminal world Jim and Nina are trying to navigate isn’t going to let them out clean.
