Violet inquired about Gallo’s well-being at the station. As Gallo walked away after acting strangely, Chief Hawkins overheard the dialogue. Violet admitted to Hawkins that she dated Gallo and that they were no longer together. Hawkins, on the other hand, believed Gallo still had feelings for Violet. In the meantime, Joe went to the hospital to see how Javi, the small kid he had caught during the apartment fire, was doing.  Joe assisted the fire investigator in communicating with Javi, who was deafeningly Joe didn’t think it was a good idea to send Javi back to the church. He sought Cassidy’s opinion on adoption and then informed his wife Chloe.

Joe eventually brought Javi home to live with him and his family. Wendy was given a spare office by Kelly to work on old cases. Stella felt a little self-conscious about it. As is customary at the firehouse, the boys were planning a park on Mason. However, Stella intervened, stating that Mason might not approve. Later, when she noticed Mason getting enthusiastic about being pranked, she attempted a last-minute park with Wendy. The prank did not go well, and Stella expressed regret for ruining it. Joe and Chloe were also undecided about adopting Javi. They felt better at night when Javi sung a song to their infant. At Hawkins’ request, Violet and Sylvie were given priority at the truck repair shop, according to Gallo. It was because of Violet’s involvement with Hawkins. Hawkins afterward received a call from his superior, who requested a meeting with him, which bothered him and Violet.
