Fans of the show Call the Midwife are extremely devoted to both the series and the cherished characters that appear in the drama about midwives, particularly Sister Monica Joan. She has been an essential component of Nonnatus House, and audiences absolutely appreciate seeing her appear on the show on a weekly basis. It is very difficult to explain what she goes through due to the fact that her health is constantly changing. She goes through a variety of things. However, it would appear that this is not sufficient for fans, as they are eager to see the adored diva in her very own spin-off series. The drama’s official Instagram account released a clip. It showed Sister Joan helping a dog with a wounded paw in last week’s episode six of season 12.  The twelve episodes of the twelfth season of Call the Midwife have been well received by viewers, but there are only two episodes remaining, and many viewers are curious about how the program will conclude the plot in the next episode.

Judy, who is now 87 years old and became a cast member in 2012, has recently discussed her plans to continue appearing on the show.  Judy has stated to a number of different media outlets “Oh, anything can happen to Sister Monica.” However, she continued by saying that there is one thing in particular that she is looking forward to a great deal. “It is lovely and very fulfilling and I have a lovely episode with a dog, lovely dog. I know I am on to a winner there,” concluded Judy.

The possibility that another fan-favorite character, Lucille Anderson, is going to be killed off permanently is a source of concern for the audience. In the fifth episode, Cyril (Zephryn Taitte) learns some troubling information about his wife Lucille, who just moved to Jamaica after suffering a mental breakdown and leaving Poplar shortly thereafter. The nurse’s mental health had been in decline over the past few months due to a number of factors, including Enoch Powell’s speech opposing immigration and the fact that she and her partner had been unable to have a child despite their best efforts. Cyril’s anxiety over the future of his marriage increased after he learned that Lucille had accepted a position in Jamaica working in a maternity unit and wouldn’t be back for another six months.
