Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 10 Recap
Sid witnesses two men in a bar brawl in front of him, and the next day he arrives at work with a black eye. One of the fighters was a cop who feels the police should be defunded. Sid was also with a group of reporters at the time. Frank was going to investigate this more. Meanwhile, Danny and Baez are tasked with intercepting large narcotics shipments bound for the city. They are irritated by the Feds’ desire to take over until Major Gates asks Danny to join him. Jamie, on the other hand, is assisting Jason with his bookie, Sergeant Coolidge, who denies threatening Jamie over a gambling obligation.
I’ll start with Danny and Major Gates. Danny eventually learns that this case may include some personal blood. The cartel member who killed Gates’ companion has the same tattoo as one of the cartel members. Gates goes all-in on this case, against Danny’s request. In the end, Danny is the one who comes to his aid and saves him. They apprehended a man who eventually revealed the location of the package. Despite one cop being shot, Danny and Gates were able to take down the cartel. Sid arrived to tell Frank and Sid about an argument between Officer Paul Sauter and Officer Christopher Zeale over the allocation of monies. Officer Zeale was summoned to Frank’s office later to determine who started the fight and to apologize.
Jamie learns about Coolidge’s gambling in one way or another. He attempts to stop Coolidge multiple times, merely begging him to leave. Sid came to tell Jamie about Coolidge’s decorated background before Jamie could enter his name into the system. But now his wife is ill, and he will want a large sum of money to treat her. Frank pays a visit to the mayor. Just Lake Salter, the mayor claims, gave him the right to his opinion. Frank reiterates that the cop deserved to be suspended. Chase accuses him of being self-righteous, claiming that he threw his own man under the bus. Frank claims that he followed all of the rules. This prevents the other 35k officers from going off the reservation. He claims he doesn’t seek out confrontations with Chase. They decide to have a drink together. Jamie ends the show by handing Coolidge a money envelope. He doesn’t accept it, although he does occasionally invite Jamie out for a beer.
