Blackish Season 8 Episode 5 Recap

Bow persuades Dre to attend a charity event in order to meet new people. Dre, on the other hand, is certain that there will be nothing but bad husbands to befriend. Their expectations are later exceeded when Michelle Obama arrives as the evening’s guest. Dre then fails to make a good pitch. As a result, he begins general marketing at his company, which causes him to doubt himself. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lewis’s Bow and Ruby interrogate Marsai Martin’s new boy Diane, who is seeing someone who does not quite satisfy her criteria. Later, Dre phones into a radio show, where he is embarrassed in front of Diane, and tries to make amends. Bow discovers a harsh truth while attempting to form bonds with a group of young female doctors.

Jack takes a job as a locker room worker for the Los Angeles Lakers later in the season, but Dre and Bow feel compelled to intervene before it gets to his head. Meanwhile, Pops and Ruby realize their routine is becoming monotonous and seek to advise from Marcus Scribner’s Junior and Olivia. Dre overreacts to Devante leaving the house in the fifth episode of the eighth season of Black-Ish, and Bow intervenes, making the issue worse. Meanwhile, Miles Brown’s character, Jack, wears daring attire for picture day. The show is both enjoyable and educational, as it contains a lot of humor and addresses a variety of socio-political themes.
