ANOTHER MAN: A NEW ROMANTIC DRAMA BY DAVID MORAGAS

The director David Moragas, who lives in Barcelona and is known for his festival hit “A Stormy Night,” is back with his second movie,Another Man,” a Catalan-language romantic drama with deep emotional exploration and subtle humor. The movie will be shown in Spain by Filmax, which will also handle sales in other countries. Another Man is set to premiere in 2025.

“Another Man” is the story of Marc and Eunald, a couple who seems stable at first but whose relationship is put to the test when Marc starts to fight Eunald’s desire for a more serious future. Carlos, their mysterious and charming new neighbor who moves into the apartment across from them. Carlos’s presence draws Marc in and makes him feel things that make him question his life choices and the relationship he thought he wanted.

The movie has a great cast, led by Lluís Marquès (Girlfriends), Quim Àvila (Burning Body), and Bruna Cusí (Summer 1993). Their acting makes the story feel real and gives it emotional depth. It shows how complicated love, desire, and finding oneself in your thirties can be.

Created by Oberon Media, a significant force in Spain’s independent film industry, “Another Man” receives support from Antonio Chavarrías, recognized for his notable works like Wild Flowers and Holy Mother. The production gains additional backing from Monstro Films in Mexico and Un Altre Home A.I.E., showcasing the film’s global reach.

David Moragas made this movie as a personal look at the choices and emotional ups and downs that make up modern relationships. Identity, change and the desire for something different, when life seems too stable, are big ideas in the story.

That Filmax is involved means that “Another Man” will likely be seen by many people in Spain and other places as well. Fans of European movies are really looking forward to seeing this movie because of Moragas’ unique way of telling stories and the interesting performances.
