A brand-new Lizzie McGuire series is headed to DisneyPlus

Hey Lizzie McGuire ;  Are you excited for most watched Disney Channel  young show Lizzie McGuire ? Its  back .  Hilary Duff confirmed the news during the D23 Expo event on Friday August 23 . Lizzie McGuire Reboot has been picked up at Disney plus . Lizzie McGuire Reboot in an all-new series, coming on December.

Duff disclosed about the new series. “Lizzie has also grown up, she’s older, she’s wiser, she has a much bigger shoe budget,”  She also said , “She has her dream job, the perfect life right now working as an apprentice to a fancy New York City decorator. “

As stated by Variety, the creator of the sitcom, Terri Minsky, will be returning for the revival and paving its way for new generations to discover.

About The Original ‘Lizzie McGuire’ 

The original Disney Channel half-hour comedy ran from 2001 to 2004 with 65 episodes aired Hilary Duff plays Lizzie, a 13-year-old girl that only wants to fit in at school and be popular.

The original series cast Lalaine, Adam Lamberg, Jake Thomas, Halle Todd, and Robert Carradine also in the reboot series .

. It was produced by Stan Rogow Productions and Disney Channel Original Productions, and distributed by Buena Vista Television.

Duff is recently engaged to DJ and singer Matthew Koma. In October, they welcomed their first child together, daughter Banks Violet Blair. She is also mom to son Luca Cruz, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.

Hilary Duff  also shared the news on Instagram, writing, “SURPRISE!!! I’ve been trying to contain this excitement for a loooong time while this has been in the works! The news arrived as as a surprise to all lizzie fans they quickly took to Twitter handle
