After ingesting the stated item, revealed to be a finger belonging to the demon Sukuna Ryoumen, the “King of Curses,” Yuuji finds himself propelled into the world of Curses—dreadful monsters produced by human malice and negativity—triggering a chain of extraordinary events.

As Yuuji finds his own unexpected abilities, he sees firsthand the danger these Curses represent to civilization.

After being introduced to the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, he begins to walk down a path that he will never be able to return from: the path of a Jujutsu sorcerer.

What is the Purpose of Jujutsu Kaisen?

Yuji Itadori is a kind high school student who, despite his natural athletic ability, prefers to join the Occult Research Club over the track team because of the autonomy it provides.

His grandfather, who is on his deathbed, is also a major influence on his decision. He likes to pay him a visit whenever he has the opportunity.

Before he dies, he teaches Yuji important lessons that he remembers. When the sorceress Megumi Fushiguro warns him that he has come into contact with a cursed charm talisman, his world is turned upside down.
