What happened in the first The Wedding Veil movie?
The first film of the series was released on Saturday, January 8. The first film introduced us to Avery, Emma, and Tracy (Alison Sweeney)—three college friends who remain in touch at least once a year when they have a girl’s weekend together to go antiquing—each time in a different city. The three meet up in San Francisco and discover an antique wedding veil in an antique store. The veil has its own mythology—it is said whoever possesses the veil will find true love. The three friends pitch in and buy the veil and Avery is the first to take possession of the veil. In no time at all, she meets Peter (Kevin McGarry) while in San Francisco but the two learn that they both live in Boston. After some misunderstandings, the two fall in love as they work together on the restoration of a centuries-old painting.
What happened in the second The Wedding Veil Unveiled?
‘The Wedding Veil Unveiled’ was premiered on February 12th. Emma (Autumn Reeser) takes possession of the veil and takes it to Italy to research its provenance while she spends a semester teaching American Art History at a university in Venice. There, she meets Paolo (Paolo Bernardini), a local businessman who helps run the family lacemaking business. Emma goes to his grandmother’s shop, one of the oldest on the island of Burano, to discover the lace was made by Paolo’s family. Paolo helps her with her research into the veil’s history. As they track the veil’s journey to the U.S., Paolo and Emma begin to fall in love.
