THE GOOD DOCTOR SEASON 7 EPISODE 7 RECAP

In “Faith,” the seventh episode of Season 7 of “The Good Doctor,” Dr. Shaun Murphy’s direct way of talking to people upsets Naomi Pine, a young patient who is fighting a terminal disease. Pine knows her time is short but still wants to have hope for her daughter Suki. The actress [Name of Actress] plays Suki, who uses social media to desperately try to find a kidney match for her mother. Her parents are wary of her attempts, though, because they don’t want her to be responsible for what happened to her mother.

A man named Emmanuel shows up and says he thinks he is Jesus and is willing to give his kidney because he has a rare blood type. Even though the doctors were worried at first about Emmanuel’s mental health, they decide to go ahead with the surgery after making sure he understands the risks.

At the same time, Eve, another patient, writes about her father’s fight with a terminal sickness. She finds comfort in sharing their story online. Unexpectedly, an accident while skydiving leads to a finding that could change the prognosis for her father, giving them hope in the midst of their problems.

Lea and Morgan’s arguments about hiring a nanny get worse as the show goes on. They end up making a funny but touching compromise by opening a daycare at the hospital. This subplot shows how important it is for hospital workers, especially those with young children, to have a good work-life balance.

In a shocking turn of events, Emmanuel has a health crisis after surgery, which puts his own life and Naomi’s chances of living at risk. But Emmanuel, who is now known as Carl, changes his mind and chooses to donate his kidney after all. This saves the day and protects Naomi’s future. As the show comes to a sad end, Shaun struggles with the idea that his baby son might be autistic, which reminds him of his own journey with autism.
