Stargirl Season 2 Episode 6 Recap

Yolanda (Yvette Monreal) is confronted by Isaac (Max Frantz) at work about her nude images and what happened to his parents. Artemis (Stella Smith) confronts Beth (Anjelika Washington), destroying her phone and accusing her of being responsible for her parents’ imprisonment. When she is bullied at school, things become even more difficult. Pat and Courtney strike up a conversation with Cameron, who informs them that Cindy has returned. Unbeknownst to them, she has devised a new strategy. Cindy intends to use Mike as bait, while Pat is assaulted by a bunch of children, including those who are after the robot. Courtney is blackmailed by Cindy after Pat is rushed to the hospital, who offers to meet Stargirl in exchange for Mike’s freedom. Courtney and the crew attempt to rescue Mike and get the black diamond from Cindy in a heated battle that begins at school. The Shade also appears, intent on stealing the diamond that has been terrorizing Blue Valley. The moon has taken on an ominous orange hue in the sky.

Sadly, breaking the diamond frees Eclipso. He snatches out one of Cindy’s knives, stabs Isaac, and feeds off his rage until nothing remains. He then absorbs Cindy into a black pool with a broken Diamond. She begs Stargirl for help, but Courtney can’t do anything, thus Cindy appears dead. Meanwhile, Artemis flees to avoid harm. He tries to fight, but the monster stabs him, so The Shade flees to heal. Courtney fights Eclipso, but he drains the staff’s life. The entity flees, leaving the JSA to deal with the fallout. He begs Pat to truly train him so he won’t be bait again. He even asks for S.T.R.I.P.E. While the JSA lacks confidence, Eclipso is ecstatic. Like he did with Dr. Mid-daughter, Nite’s Eclipso morphs into his child form, likely to get the jump on unsuspecting people. Both the JSA and Cindy’s supporters suffered greatly.
