Which novel is based on The Man Who Fell To Earth Series?

The series is based on Walter Tevis’s book of the same name, published in 1963. The novel was originally adapted into a blockbuster 1976 film starring David Bowie (with his distinctive orange hair) and Rip Torn, titled The Man Who Fell To Earth.

Nicolas Roeg, a renowned British director, directed the picture, which has since become a cult classic. The show appears to be sticking to the plot of earlier iterations, although it will most likely be more loyal to the book due to the length of a TV series allowing for more time to examine the topic.
