So Riverdale Season 5 could air on The CW until October 6th, provided there are no further breaks after Riverdale returns to our screens on August 11. The midseason finale was a strange twist that left fans wondering what happened to Jughead. He was looking into the Moth Man, Riverdale’s mythical alien who abducted Riverdale residents in the 1980s. Another Jughead is finishing his book Tabitha Tate handcuffed Jughead to a desk in the bunker to allow him to concentrate. He also used magic mushrooms to help him hallucinate, which helped him get rid of writer’s block. Tabitha later returned to Jughead’s house to check on him.
