HBO has just unveiled exciting new stills from The Last of Us Season 2, Episode 5, titled Feel Her Love, which will air on May 11, 2025. As the showrunner Craig Mazin has said before, the lack of spores in the series was a creative choice that let the characters show more emotional depth because gas masks would hide their faces. As the story goes on, though, this fan-favorite part of the game will become much more important to the plot.
As Feel Her Love reveals, the spores will not only affect the characters physically but will also amplify the psychological pressure on survivors. The episode also hints at the arrival of an even greater threat lurking in the shadows.
