NCIS Season 19 Episode 10 Recap
we encounter a woman named Kay. She was using Zoom to look at rose-gold jewelry. She did, in fact, have a gold necklace. Then, out of nowhere, a military SWAT team appears. Her fiance, Rafi Nazar, is accused of stealing the technology for a master key that controls a number of drones used by the military to spy on adversaries. In addition, the key is in charge of the combat drones. Because the Secretary of the Navy was giving the matter top priority, NCIS director Vance “was coming in hot.” The military couldn’t even tell NCIS how many drones the key was in charge of. The information was kept under wraps. The agents chose Kay because she claimed she and Rafi met nine months ago and fell in love right away. Rafi was born in Afghanistan but enlisted in the Navy the day after gaining citizenship in the United States.
The agents then tracked down a well-known and highly skilled hacker. He served as a conduit for the key’s theft. The agents, on the other hand, discovered him dead. Agents had to seek out a motive as well. Rafi’s fellow pilots were all behind him. He did, however, have an uncle who had ties to the Taliban. Kay agreed to meet with Rafi after Jess persuaded her. Kay, on the other hand, waved her lover away as he approached their favorite eatery. Rafi flees because she couldn’t let the NCIS agents arrest him. He eventually arrives at the Afghan Embassy. Rafi and Parker are allowed to meet with the Afghan ambassador. He’s come to inform Rafi that Kay has been charged with three felonies, each of which carries a sentence of over 30 years in prison.
Rafi surrenders and embraces Kay, who was waiting outside the embassy. But then we hear gunshots. Rafi was assassinated. Parker, who was undertaking a ride-along, was informed by the paramedic who treated Rafi in the ambulance that Rafi would live. As a result, Parker asked that an ambulance be dispatched to NCIS headquarters. Besides, Parker claimed Jimmy would be able to help him. Kay was the one who no one would suspect was a terrorist. She believed she had deleted all of her social media posts. Kay was radicalized by a man in West Virginia, it turns out. Rafi was her target since he was Afghan. It was easy to frame him because everyone suspected he was a terrorist.
Let’s return to the Gibbs incident now. Since October, he hasn’t been on NCIS. However, we learn in Monday’s episode that both Jimmy and McGee received $10,000 deposits in their checking accounts. Jimmy and McGee are summoned to Vance’s office, where he explains that Gibbs offered them the money to help pay for their children’s college fees. Years ago, Gibbs appears to have done the same for Vance’s children. Gibbs put money aside for his daughter’s education. When she died, though, he continued to add to it. He distributes the funds to his other agents in an anonymous manner.
