American war period drama movie Mulan 2020 is based on the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan and is a live-action adaptation of Disney’s 1998 animated movie of the same name.
Mulan 2020 is scheduled to be released in the US on July 24, 2020, and also will be a Nationwide in theaters release.

Set in ancient China, Hua Mulan, a young woman, disguises herself as a man so she can take her father’s place in the army and go to war. She becomes a skilled warrior and, eventually, one of the country’s greatest heroines. She fights for twelve years and gains high merit, but she refuses any reward and retires to her hometown instead.

Mulan stars Liu Yifei, Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li and Jet Li.
The film is directed by Niki Caro from a screenplay by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver and Elizabeth Martin & Lauren Hynek based on the narrative poem “The Ballad of Mulan.”
