Episode 5 starts with Adil (Tony Giroux ) and Khalida riding a train to India. Khalida would like to know what the military is looking for in return for keeping them safe. The general drinks are now poison. Adil and Khalida ran, but the poison is eating the train. Alder is enjoying music with Tally. She calls Alder (Lyne Renée) bluff. Tally is told by Alder that she kept the truth secret to protect her pride. This answer clearly upsets Tally. Raelle (Taylor Hickson) confronts Anacostia down the hall and asks her whether she knew Scylla had escaped. Anacostia tells Raelle that Anacostia can’t tell anything when Anacostia shows Raelle the photo.
Jonah, a man from Willa’s house is on a mission to find The Spree. Abigail (Ashley Nicole Williams) is still upset by the attack at the garage. Camarilla still doesn’t believe Abigail walked into her trap. Raelle (Taylor Hickson) and Tally are currently eating. Tally has been given the “medicine”, to be free from Alder. Gregorio (Praneet Akilla) speaks up, referring to the attack against the train. Alder and Petra (Catherine Lough Haggquist) talk about the train attack at Alder’s office. Izadora is on her route to the site to take samples.
Silver has delayed testing at the sites due to “the spree attack”. Anacostia, Scylla, and their friends are out and about for Halloween. They get to meet Shane and Bonnie. Bonnie will take her daughter trick or treating. Abigail is currently in combat training and feels defeated. Raelle and Tally worry about her. Abigail runs out, and the girls chase her. Tally and Raelle would love to be home with Abigail during fall break.
The soldiers then emerge with their burning sticks and begin to head into the woods. Gregorio instructs the girls to remain quiet and then they follow his lead. Alder is lighting tape in a larger bonfire. The rest of the cadets light their bonfires. They’re there to wake up the dead. They must keep the fire going until midnight. They can speak to any dead witch if they win.
Anacostia (Demetria McKinney) and Scylla (Amalia Holm) are at a Camarilla event along with Shane. Tally, Abigail (Ashley Nicole Williams), and Raelle are protecting their fire and themselves from the incoming arrows. At the end of the night, they all choose who to talk to. Tally would like to speak with someone from Alder’s past, Abigail would like to speak to a relative and Raelle would love to talk to her mother.
Raelle’s mother is still alive, but that’s the only problem. Anacostia and Scylla (Amalia Holm) are both watching the event. The man who is on the stage is from the testing center. He announces that they will perform a Halloween ritual for the first time in a very long time.
Camarilla was given a gift by Shane: Tiffany. They will kill her. Gregorio is injured while trying to protect the fire from an arrow.Raelle can heal Gregorio. Raelle then runs to the field and uses her magic for protection. Anacostia (Demetria McKinney) enters the basement. Jack follows her. He must be defeated without the use of witchcraft. Everyone gets a rock to kill Tiffany. Scylla confesses to Spree. She is able to draw attention to herself. Anacostia reduces the power and Scylla has the ability to use her powers.
She can kill the man on stage while protecting Tiffany. Tonight, everyone succeeded.M is giving candles to each member of the coven. They can talk to the witch of their choice until the candle goes out. Tally and Abigail begin to talk to their ghosts but Raelle never appears. Tally discovers the truth. Alder (Lyne Renée) was able to take this woman. All their candles are extinguished. After visiting with their ghosts, the girls meet up and join hands. Raelle relates all the things she wishes her mother could have told her.
Abigail is back and needs blood. Tally warns Abigail not to rush into any decision. Petra arrives, and Tally departs. She has information on Adil. He is back at Fort Salem. Abigail leaps into his arms. Both he and Khalida survived. Adil (Tony Giroux ) and Abigail will join forces to hunt for the Camarilla. Bonnie and Shane are home. Bonnie wants to find out if Shane knows anything about Tiffany’s disappearance. Bonnie then stabs Shane in his head. Is that Bonnie? It is Scylla and runs into Bonnie as she is about to leave.
