Ghosts Season 2 Episode 7 Spoilers

The popular CBS sitcom adds an actor from the original U.K. cast: Mathew Baynton, well-known to  OG British sitcom Ghosts fans as 19th-century romantic poet Thomas Thorne. It’s all in the ghostly family. In the American series, he plays a very arrogant real-life actor who was paid by the tacky reality show “Dumb Deaths” to play out the embarrassing arrow-in-the-neck death of Scoutmaster Pete (Richie Moriarty). As Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) is amazed at how this tough woman makes all the decisions, Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) try in vain to convince the hard-nosed producer (Reboot’s hilarious Rose Abdoo) to tone down the Pete-bashing.  If you’re interested in learning more, we’ve included the complete plot summary and promo for Ghosts season 2 episode 7 below.

CBS’s Ghosts Season 2 Episode 6 Recap

Thor is happy to see his son again because when he left, Bjorn was a young child who couldn’t even speak the word “father.” But then he discovers something that makes him feel absolutely terrified: Bjorn married a Dane, with whom he had children. Thor only agrees to go up to the window where he can yell across at Bjorn (in a window at the Farnsby house), so that he can tell his son that he is formally disowned. Flower and Isaac try to reason with him, as refusing to see your son who has been waiting to see you for 1,000 actual years. When Thor accuses his son of being a traitor, Isaac tries to cheer him up by saying, “Well, you know, so was Benedict Arnold, but he was still a great dinner-party guest.” However, when Bjorn refers to Thor as “father,” Thor’s icy Viking heart begins to soften. He adores his ghostly dead son!

What Sam and Jay go through at the Farnsby home while attempting to rejoin the Vikings is much less endearing. Henry is taken aback by Jay’s curiosity when he picks up an upside-down pineapple statue because he knows Sam is into fruit sculpture. Jay constantly talking about how Sam got really into it in college doesn’t help. Jay and Sam are unharmed, but those poor youngsters have truly failed when it comes to getting along with their neighbors. Since ghosts don’t need money, it appears that a few centuries ago they invented their own form of payment, which they settled on.  According to Isaac, Hetty has accumulated a sizable collection of back rubs as a result of her “shrewd haggling and a general dislike for physical touch, which prompts her to never cash them in.” Hetty doesn’t have time for complaints from new money, so Trevor, the newest ghost and the one who gets the fewest back rubs, is most bothered by it.

Trevor devises a plan in which he will produce a different form of money to compete with Hetty’s and return to the game. Naturally, everything backfires in his face. Trevor makes the decision to begin buying and selling TV Time. so it’s more of the former; he successfully persuades the majority of his fellow ghosts to sell him their TV Time in exchange for a few back rubs so that he may control the TV for the following month. Later, Hetty discovers Trevor alone on the couch launching his ninth “Toe pick!” and they have a really touching conversation. Hetty observes that it appears as though he only valued money if he could share it with the people he cared about. she encourages Trevor to give back all of the TV Time he had amassed to its original owners. You were being played the entire time by Hetty! All she wanted was for Trevor to end his stranglehold, no matter what it took. She begins stealing everyone else’s TV time in exchange for back rubs. She is not interested in friendship.
