In the new Fantasy Island, Fox brings an entirely new cast and new fantasies for guests to play on the island. However, it’s been three decades since Fantasy Island aired its last episode. The first ABC drama series originally ran for seven seasons from 1977 to 1984 and then was briefly rebooted for one season in 1998, starring Malcolm McDowell as the new Mr. Rourke. After that, a horror film prequel was released on February 14, 2020, who failed to perform brilliantly.

Rosalyn Sanchez will lead the Fox reboot, playing Ricardo Montalbán of a mysterious island. she has given up her life in New York to become the island’s steward, where she fulfills her guests’ greatest desires but teaches them that what they want is not necessarily what they need.

New Fantasy Island Season 1 Episode 1 Details
“Hungry Christine/Mel Loves Ruby” is the title of the first episode of the reboot of Fantasy Island Season 1 Episode 1. Synopsis: Roarke welcomes a local morning show host, Christine Collins, who has a simple fantasy: she wants to eat. And eat. And eat. But when Christine gets to Fantasy Island, she’ll realize that she’s hungry for much more than food. Roarke’s other guests include Ruby Akuda, who arrives on Fantasy Island with her husband; Ruby is afflicted with a terminal illness and is given a new lease on life.
Fantasy Island Season 1 Episode 1will release on Tuesday, Aug. 10 at 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT on FOX. Roselyn Sanchez’s Fantasy Island will be available for streaming, and there will be several options.
