Chesapeake Shores Season 6 Episode 6 Recap
Since Mick and Megan (Barbara Niven) are attempting to maintain a long-distance romance, plans (like a meeting in Denver) occasionally fall through because Megan is ill and unable to fly. When Mick talks at a NA meeting, it then becomes abundantly evident how much he needs a sponsor. For a while, Mick believes he can work through the steps on his own, but Ralph (Donald Sales) reminds him that those who attempt to complete the program on their own are known as addicts. Ralph follows him after the meeting. Mick is aware that he needs a sponsor now. According to Ralph, he knows a guy. Abby is upset as Megan must cancel, but Mick yells at her. In fact, he makes contact with Luke (Stephen Huszar) and confesses that everything makes him consider using. The other man responds that he can’t because they are buddies when the other man wants Luke to be his sponsor.
Luke and Bree (Emilie Ullerup) haven’t spoken since the incident involving the fortune teller. She does bring the housewarming gift over herself, despite her attempts to convince Mick to deliver it for her. She admits that she didn’t distrust him; rather, she was afraid of making a mistake and ended up making one. The good news is that by the end of the conversation, they are back on course. Bree learns that an actress is interested in optioning her book’s rights. Luke advises her to consult with everyone first since she is hesitant, especially because it might cause her family’s problems to resurface. Everyone concurs when she does so after requesting their permission. along with some casting advice: Kevin (Brendan Penny) prefers Chris Pratt or Chris Pine, but Jessica Sipos’ Sarah interjects with Luke Wilson, while Connor (Andrew Francis) wonders whether Dwayne Johnson would wear a wig. Mick wants Harrison Ford to play him, while Jess recommends Hilary Duff and Abby Kristen Stewart.
David (Carlo Marks) is preoccupied with everything that is going on with his father, especially after Dennis (Malcolm Stewart) calls, while Jess (Laci J. Mailey) concentrates on the inn and wants to grow by entering the wine-making industry. David finds it difficult to believe Dennis because Dennis insisted on hiding the evidence. Agent Malik (Laara Sadiq), who taps David’s phone, receives the information. Dennis had anticipated that they would be able to find him when he called again. He wishes to sacrifice himself. After passing the bar exam, recruiters from law firms start contacting Margaret (Mariesa Crouse). He says he doesn’t want to hold her back or cause her to have any regrets, even though she is aware of what she wants to choose her own clients, stand up for the underdog, and build a business from the bottom up. She leaves, rejecting their good offer despite the fact that they had made one. She reminds Connor that she has experience working for large firms.
Margaret wants to continue working with him, but with one modification: as an equity partner. He tells her that he also wants to do that. When Bree and Jess are offered wine in a spa, Sarah keeps her pregnancy a secret with Abby’s assistance. She may be assured that Kevin didn’t tell Abby; she just guessed. Sarah acknowledges that she is unsure of how she should feel and questions how she can be joyful given the possibility of a repeat miscarriage. Sarah shares the news with Bree and Jess at the end of the episode as suggested by Abby.
