The CW decided not to run the All-American spin-off after Episode 6 because of college basketball. But tonight both the shows will air again. “Godspeed” is the title of the sequel to Homecoming. Much of the episode may focus on Simone facing her more difficult difficulties during a tennis tournament, as well as what she will do to overcome them. IDENTITY – When Simone is faced with her first college-level tournament, she learns she has to conquer an unexpected bigger foe and gets some sage advice from Thea. Damon struggles with an assignment as it hits a little too close to home when it triggers some of his insecurities. As JR re-examines his identity, he gets advice from an unexpected source. Amara continues to fight her battle with President Allen and Bringston in her own way. Meanwhile, the gang rallies around Keisha as she tries to navigate her late mom’s birthday on her own since her relationship with her father is strained. (#107)

All American Homecoming Episode 6 Recap
After a week, Damon is still giving Simone the silent treatment. JR tries to interfere by announcing his retirement from baseball. Damon’s mother is in town. She simply wants to watch a game as a mother. A neighborhood restaurant is sponsoring a fundraiser for the team to get young boys interested in baseball, according to Coach Marcus. The new catcher is Santiago. Damon is dissatisfied with Santiago’s position as a catcher. Marcus is concerned that there is something else wrong. Everyone is oohing and ahhing over Shay, the newborn. Tina Hicks appears out of nowhere. It seemed like a wonderful time for Amara to connect. Simone reluctantly accepts the invitation to brunch. When JR returns home, he discovers that the house has already been sold. Simone and her mother take a stroll through the museum, admiring the photographs. They exchange an impetuous hug, which is captured by a photographer. Simone feels used because they’re doing a spread on Tina. When Santiago fails to catch anything, Damon loses it on the field. The coach assigns them to the fundraising so that they may learn to work together. On and off the field, Damon’s mother reminds him that he has a family. Damon and Santiago come to an agreement and inspire several children. Simone scolds her mother. The sisters are pitted against each other. Tina dropped out of law school to allow Amara to complete her education, and now Tina is dissatisfied with Amara’s life. The toddler screams nonstop while babysitting baby Shay. Damon shows up and makes him laugh. He and Simone reconcile. JR’s mother warns her husband not to abandon their son like he abandoned her. JR is taken aback. Damon speaks with him about his search for his birth parents. When JR arrived at the family meal, he and Damon decided to acquire a DNA sample.
