READ THE OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS AS PER CBS:

“Allegiance” – When a crew of violent eco-terrorists abducts the teenage son of an energy company executive, SWAT must untangle the kidnappers’ twisted motives before carrying out a high-stakes rescue mission. Meanwhile, Hondo’s involvement in a shooting draws outrage from the very community he’s dedicated his career to protecting. And, as Deacon is called on to help with the escalating crisis, he’s forced to confront nagging doubts about his retirement, on S.W.A.T., Friday, May 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

In the S.W.A.T. Season 7 Episode 10, Deacon thought about retiring but now he’s not sure if he should retire or not. He offers Tan (David Lim) the chance to run S.W.A.T. Academy, but Tan turns it down at first because he does not feel he is ready for the responsibility. At last, Tan realizes what he is capable of and accepts the offer.

Deacon cleans out his locker at the end of the episode, which is a touching way to show that he is ready to quit. But the plot summary for the twelfth episode suggests that Deacon’s journey with S.W.A.T. might not be over yet, which excites fans as they look forward to what comes next for his character.

It’s still not clear what will happen with Deacon on the show, but fans can look forward to seeing more of Jay Harrington’s character in upcoming episodes and maybe even in Season 8. CBS has picked up “SWAT” for an 8th season, which means Harrington will be involved in some way in the next season.

Don’t miss “Allegiance,” which was directed by Jay Harrington and will air on S.W.A.T. on May 10th on CBS. Come back to tvacute.com soon for more S.W.A.T. news, sneak peeks, and reviews.
