One Piece Film: Red Expands Cast with Chise Niitsu and Yuki Kaji

One Piece Film: Red hasn’t stopped announcing new cast members for its already massive lineup, and today added 12-year-old Chise Niitsu (Young Kanna in Child of Kamiari Month) and Yuki Kaji (Eren in Attack on Titan) as Uta fans Romi and Yorueka, respectively according to the Comic Natalie. With less than a month until the highly anticipated release of the franchise’s biggest anime film yet, One Piece Film: Red hasn’t slowed down. One Piece Film: Red Release Date

One Piece Film: Red is slated to debut in Japanese theatres on August 6, 2022. It was scripted by Tsutomu Kuroiwa (One Piece Film: Gold), and directed by Goro Taniguchi (Code Geass, BACK ARROW). The movie will be released internationally via Crunchyroll later this fall in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Red, the forthcoming 15th One Piece film, is scheduled for release in August 2022. On November 21, 2021, in celebration of the debut of Episode 1000, the movie was originally teased. The movie will star Shanks and feature his estranged daughter Uta, a significant new female character.

One Piece Film: Red Synopsis:

The story is set on the “Island of Music” Elegia, where Uta, the world’s greatest diva, holds her first-ever live concert and reveals herself to the public. The Straw Hats, pirates, Marines, and fans from across the world gather to enjoy Uta’s voice, which has been described as “otherworldly”. However, the event begins with the shocking revelation that Uta is the daughter of Shanks.
